N orthfield Stables was designed by Margaret Culley. Margaret used her experience with natural horsemanship to create the ideal place to teach and play with horses. There is everything needed to develop and enjoy horses:

  • An insulated indoor arena (150x80 ft) with overhead lighting, a variety of obstacles, and a great sound system. Just plug in your ipod!
  • An outdoor arena (175x160 ft)
  • A playground/obstacle course (300x300 ft) with various obstacles including tires, logs, stumps, a ditch, and boulders.
  • A 50 ft round pen.
  • Miles of dirt roads that are great for riding on year round.
  • Close to mountainous terrain - some of the best trails you can find anywhere.
  • Plenty of room for your trailer too!

The barn has

  • Stalls (12x12 ft) available for short term use.
  • A large foaling stall (12x20 ft).
  • A horse wash bay.
  • Large lockers in the locker room for each boarder.
  • Space to store grain in the feed room.

Horses live in irrigated pastures enclosed by high tension PVC coated wire fencing, this provides a safe home for horses. Each pasture is equipped with a loafing shed and paddock for managing dietary needs. Groups of horses are kept small only 4 or 5 horses per pasture, so they have plenty of room to run and engage in horseplay.

We do our best to keep it very clean and tidy. Margo’s green thumb keeps the gardens beautiful.
